Red Velvet Smoothie

red-velvet-smoothie

We love this smoothie, for its silky texture, and it hits the right balance between tart and sweet flavours. Cabbage may seem like an unusual ingredient to add to your smoothie, but it makes for an excellent low calorie source of vitamin C.

Adding variety to your smoothie is always a good idea, to get a good balance of nutrients from different fruits and vegetables. Apart from a good dose of vitamin C, this smoothie contains vitamin B-6, and magnesium too, both essential for basic body functioning.

Pomegranate arils lift the flavours of this smoothie, and pomegranate is high in antioxidants. It’s easy to keep pomegranate arils in your freezer, if you grow pomegranate in your garden, or have managed to stock up at your favorite market. Or you can get your frozen supplies from EuroBerry. EuroBerry offers an excellent range of frozen fruits and syrups for commercial use, and visit one of their factory shops to get the best value for money for home use.
