The drive socket (also referred to as the mushroom or sprocket) is the part on top of the blender base. When the teeth of the drive socket are worn, the part can easily be replaced.
When the teeth are worn, it is important to check the teeth of the bearing of the jug that is used with the blender. When the drive socket's teeth are worn, it is likely that the teeth of the bearing are worn too. Find the blade assembly here.
Check the serial number of your blender (at the bottom of the base) to order the part compatible with the serial no 4 blenders, or the series starting with serial no 5.

We distinguish between commercial and household use, and limit the above warranty for commercial use to the moving parts, offering 1 year warranty (blades & drive socket).

We guarantee the availability of spare parts for 24-hour turnaround time of repairs, as we recognise the importance of business continuity for our commercial customers. Pricing of parts for any repairs outside of warranty is transparent too, and labour is not charged outside warranty either, keeping long-term maintenance economical, even outside warranty.

We cover parts & labour under our warranty & service to resolve any issue that you may experience within 3 years, and exclude collection and/or delivery charges. A service request can be booked here.

We’ve made DIY basic repairs easy with our online video tutorials, and can send parts overnight to enable you to do the repairs yourself.

We’ve explained proper use of the OmniBlend blender in the Owner’s Manuals. Any misuse is not covered by warranty, nor is normal wear & tear that can be expected from extensive commercial use.

We’d like you to register your OmniBlend blender when you’ve received your purchase, to make handling of warranty claims easier for you. Should you not have registered, you can email your invoice, along with pictures and/or video in connection with your service request for a warranty claim.

We offer a 14-day Money Back Guarantee, should you not be completely satisfied with your purchase. A shipping & restocking fee of R320 applies, and money is refunded into your South African bank account within 3 days of the product return.
