Beetroot-based juices are by far the most popular juices you’ll find in juice bars. They’re easy to make at home with the Greenis juicer, and you can experiment adding more or less other fruits to bring out different flavours. Ginger is one of the best flavours to add to your beet juice, and adds to the detoxifying properties of this Beet & Apple juice. Depending on your taste buds, add more or less ginger to your liking.
As the flavour is intense, we’re adding a bit of water after we’ve juiced the ingredients. This rinses the fiber, making sure you get all nutritional value out of the remains in the juicer.
Assemble the Greenis juicer with the fine sieve. Add the ice cubes to the jug that collects the juice. This cools down the juice as it comes out at room temperature. Prepare and wash the beet, apple and ginger, and cut the beet and apple in about 8 pieces, and the ginger in half. Switch on the juicer, and slowly feed the pieces into the juicer, alternating apple and beet. Finish with the water.
Beets are found to relax the mind as they contain betaine, so ... sit back, and relax :)
